Vintage Scandinavian Art Glass Vase & bowl by Nils Landberg for Orrefors

A beautiful and very rare handmade vintage sommerso glass vase and bowl made and signed by talented nils landberg for orrefors glassworks, sweden in the 1960s. The vase and bowl have a dark midnight blue color which has been covered with clear crystal, they are a part of the "dusk" series, this color is very rare for dusk and it is just amazing. Dusk is a part of the famous mid-century modernist artwork that was produced by the designer. The shape is classic, which makes it very sophisticated and elegant. Landberg has often been described as a master of crystal, which is very obvious in this vase, which is truly fantastic. The vase is 22.5cm (8.85") high and 10.5cm (4.13") wide and 6cm (2.36") deep, some very minor abrasions underneath yet overall, in a great condition. The bowl is 6cm (2.36') high, 12cm (4.72') wide and 8cm (3, 13') deep, both objects are signed the price is for both objects.
