2 upholstered chairs and Art Deco wood

These two charming wooden chairs will look great around a table, with their identical shape but their different color, in an art deco style by their simple, geometric and elegant lines. They probably date from the 30s or 40s and were handmade, this can be seen in particular on the three rounds of the backrest. They are in rather good structural condition, still solid, but do not hide their age and the patina that goes with it: various marks on the wood, the most numerous being on the back of the red chair (but less visible in reality than on the precise photo of the backrest), a slight sway has been corrected by the addition of new skates, a little game on the fitting of the front feet (and this is normal for chairs that have more than 80 years of use on the counter!), wear and stains on the fabrics (i did not dare to wash the fabric, but maybe it would work on these tasks), the fabric hiding the springs, under the seat, is faded on the red chair, and absent on the yellow chair. A rust stake on upholsterer's nails. They can be used as is, or reupholstered by a professional, or a budding craftsman because they seem ideal to me to try the art of upholstery of seats. Maybe by me in a while if you don't adopt them before. I'm selling them together at the moment, but if you only want one, I can line up each chair separately, send me a message. They measure 80.5 cm in height, 43 cm in seat height, 43 cm in width and 39 in depth, and each weigh between 2 and 3 kg. Attention no shipping between december 16 and 23, 2022.
