Armchair, low carved chair from the 19th century - decorated with wheat ears.

Antique low seat chair (chauffeuse), made of solid wood with finely carved decoration. Openwork central panel adorned with a wheat ear, turned front legs with sculpted rosette connection blocks. The seat is made of woven rye straw in excellent condition, very dense. Ideal as a statement piece in a bedroom, a "country chic" living room, or an entrance. Beautiful original patina. Seat height: 35cm.
