Pair of chairs Thonet 17 reissue FMG

The fmg company (fabryka mebli gietych) is a polish factory of curved wooden furniture, producing in the former tuna factory of jasienica following its nationalization after the second world war. It took the name of fmg "jafameg" in 1945 before later becoming the "fameg" (grouping other factories). Emblematic bistro chair model 17 of tuna by the manufacture of braided fmg in curved wood dating from the 1950s. Tubular wooden structure, some traces of wood wear visible in the photos. The canning seats have been redone. Fmg stamp made in poland on the underside of the seat. Dimensions h110 X w43 X d45.
