Pair of Art Deco nightstands with walnut burl and red breccia marble from 1930.
Elegant pair of Art Deco bedside tables, France, 1930s. Solid walnut structure with burl wood veneer on the fronts, giving the whole a warm appearance characteristic of the period. Each table is topped with a red breccia marble top featuring multicolored patterns (pink, burgundy, white), framed by a low gallery. The central part houses a molded drawer adorned with a silver metal knob, flanked by two open side niches. At the bottom, a double door with burl veneer, equipped with two round metal knobs, provides access to a storage space with an interior shelf. The base rests on stylized legs connected by an openwork apron with gestural cutouts typical of Art Deco. Wear consistent with age: scratches and scuffs on the wood, as well as a crack on the marble top of one of the two tables — to be noted before purchase. Dimensions: H. 54 cm × W. 54 cm × D. 30 cm — Weight: 15 kg (each unit). Beautiful authentic set for interior decoration, ideal for a characterful bedroom.
