Round art deco dining table

In the style of jacques adnet (french, 1900-1984) “soleil” dining room table. The round top, with the "sun" motif, can accommodate three extensions. It rests on four sheathed feet enhanced with silver-plated brass edging. High. 73 diam. 110cm. Long. Total 252 cm. (small breaks in veneer, scratches) provenance: collection of a castle in the indre valley. Work to compare: directoire style table by jacques adnet in the interior of a private home, made on the occasion of the reconstruction of brest, the model reproduced in "modern ensembles" in 1949.
