Vintage Harrods Kennedy leather architect's desk

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely vintage architect's desk, distributed by Harrods London, made by REH Kennedy, featuring a large unique top drawer and a brown leather writing surface. This desk is a true find, with a large top drawer often referred to as a card drawer, traditionally used on naval campaign desks, now repurposed for architects' A1 plans. The condition is excellent for its age, with light restoration including a deep clean, hand-applied wax, and manual polishing. It shows normal patina marks related to age and use. Desk dimensions: height 77 cm, width 133 cm, depth 70 cm. Leg dimensions: height 63.5 cm, width 109 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest points. There are natural cracks, creases, and wear on the leather, recommending regular polishing and avoiding prolonged exposure to sunlight for the hand-dyed leather.
