A pair of 790 armchairs by Joseph-André Motte for Steiner, produced in the 1960s. Numbered and labelled. Structure in lacquered solid ash, fabric in looped wool "Baru" 740 from the publisher Sahco/Kvadrat, foam cushions. Straps and cushions refurbished by the upholsterer Thyrse Paris; wood treated and revarnished by a cabinetmaker, invoice available. They show woodworm damage on the sides filled with tone-on-tone wax.
