Bridge armchair Vroom and Dreesman in rope

Bridge armchair designed in the years 50 in the Netherlands by Vroom and Dreesman (V&S). Composed of a dark-stained beech structure, its armrests have a rounded shape like a pretty curved Ribbon descending to the ground. The seat and backrest are made of braided rope forming a checkered pattern. Some strings have a different color in the Center, forming an additional drawing. This creation is very strongly reminiscent of the achievements of Audoux and Minet. In very good condition, very comfortable.
