Cartel and its wooden violin-shaped console decorated with european varnish of polychrome flowers on a green background, the circular dial with twelve white enamel plates with roman and arabic numerals in black signed gille a dieppe. Rich ornamentation of chiseled and varnished bronzes decorated with acanthus leaves, windings and greeks. Louis XV period, circa 1760. Modified movement bearing the inscription "dumonchet ismael a st nicolas 15 7 1887", account wheel to be refixed. With its key and its pendulum. H X w X d = 115 X 36 X 15 cm. What we think: there is a plethora of cartels on the market but in our object what impresses from the start are its dimensions (115cm high) then it benefits from spectacular bronzes. The varnish has been restored and its green has returned to its original taste. The movement is certainly later but of excellent quality.
