Armchair designed by one of the most outstanding polish post-war designers – professor edmund homa. Produced since 1965 in the gościcińska furniture factory. The gfm – 64 armchair with a low back was part of a set that also included a high-back seat, headrest and footrest. The set won a silver medal at the national fair “autumn 1965” and became one of the most popular export goods of the prl era. An armchair with a low backrest – more universal (smaller) than his brother with a high backrest, was more often sold in the domestic market and was a symbol of luxury and good taste back then. Armchair underwent a carpentry and upholstery renovation. After removing the old varnish, the wooden frame has been stained brown and covered with a few coats of varnish. Furniture’s filling was replaced and upholstered in high quality fabric.
