Minimalist Lamp, Bent Karlby, Lyfa, 1980

This danish lamp is characterized by its particularly geometric and avant-garde shape. This small fixture is composed of three discs in layers of sheet metal of different diameters, gently resting on a folded triangular base - creating a beautiful pattern of soft light. Its small size and essential geometry make this lamp a unique and sculptural rare object. It comes from denmark and attributed to the famous danish lighting designer bent karlby for the equally famous producer lyfa, from the 1970s. The lamp is in very good general condition, with very slight traces of use. Metal, 17×21×20 cm.
