6 Plia chair designed by Giancarlo Pirretti

The Plia chair, designed by Giancarlo Pirretti and manufactured by Castelli, is a design icon. Since its unveiling at the Milan Furniture Fair in 1967, it has become a cult object, appearing in MoMA's Radical Furniture exhibition as an example of "democratic design." The Plia combines a steel frame with a transparent polypropylene seat and backrest, making it lightweight both in use and aesthetically pleasing. Six units available, each with signs of wear and age.
