Vintage covered pot (or tobacco pot) in glazed ceramic dates from the 1940s and is signed by the french ceramist lucien brisdoux (1878-1963). It is numbered and is in excellent condition. The pot closes with a recessed lid, held in place by a 3-spoke brass screw system. The ceramic presents on the body and the lid an enamelled decoration with effect of nuanced and dilated brown colors on a fir green background. The interior of the room is enamelled green, glossy finish. Signature under the identified base of brisdoux. Numbered in hollow "165". Twentieth century - 1940s. Total height: 14.5 cm. Depth of the pot under the lid: 9.5 cm. Maximum body diameter: 13 cm. Inner diameter of the neck: 8 cm. Lid diameter: 8.5 cm. Weight: 860 g. Excellent condition, no shine, no crack. Note a tiny small shock at the edge of the lid, very little visible; . One of the branches of the brass closure has a small, discreet wear. (photos with arrows).
