Antique pedestal table in cherry wood / wine table, 19th century
Antique pedestal table dating from the 19th century, made of cherry wood and originating from France. The top is round, with a warm reddish-brown color, visible wood grain, and natural tone variations. The surface shows marks and signs of wear due to years of use. The top rests on a turned central pedestal with rounded decorative details. Three curved legs extend from the base, giving the table its characteristic shape. Measuring 59 cm in diameter and 71 cm in height, this compact table can be used as a wine table, side table, or bedside table. Its proportions also make it suitable for use next to an armchair or as a small table in a living room. Good antique condition, with a warm and naturally aged patina. The top retains its original character, with surface marks and color variations consistent with its age. The pedestal and legs are well preserved, with some minor signs of wear and old repairs near the base, as shown in the photos. Antique wooden furniture may show signs of past woodworm activity. As a precaution, all our wooden furniture is treated preventively against woodworm before delivery to our customers.
