French Empire Style Bronze Single Montgolfier Crystal Basket Chandelier. The chandelier features a decorative crown at the top and two additional decorative rings, one in the centre and one at the bottom. The space between the crown and central ring is beautifully adorned with graduated octagonal crystals, creating a cascading effect. In the centre of the chandelier hangs a single bulb holder. The lower section of the chandelier is a true masterpiece, where rectangular prisms intersperse the octagonal crystals, leading to a decorative ring that gracefully encloses the design. From the bottom ring, several pointed cut glass crystal prisms dangle, reflecting light in a mesmerizing display. The chandelier hangs from a 1-link chain, a hoop, bar, and decorative cup style ceiling canopy. The light is fitted with French three-core wiring and takes 1 large screw-in bulb E27. The crystals and glass beads are in good condition, bright and clear with no visible chips or cracks; some may have small nibbles, but nothing detracts from their beauty. The bronze is in good condition with age-related patina.
