Razorblade stole

A beautiful set of 6 sculptural dining chairs (model 54) designed by henning kjærnulf for nyrup møbelfabrik, denmark in the 1960s. Solid oak frames with bouclé upholstered seats. The solid oak frames are robust, cleaned, newly lacquered, and in very good condition with a beautiful and warm wood grain and color. The seats are reupholstered with a durable off white bouclé fabric and new foam. The inside of the backrests features a distinctive and unique silhouette in the shape of a razor blade. The overall impression of this set of four chairs is very good and will suit many types of interior styles with a blend of art deco, scandinavian modern, brutalism, and modernism.
