Antique office chair by J&J KOHN

Extremely rare! This superb office chair by the austrian manufacturer jacob & josef kohn. Made at the very end of the nineteenth century, it is curved wood in the style of thonet. All the wood part entirely original and in very good condition, with of course traces of wear, witnesses of the adventures lived during all these years. The canning has just been completely redone by a craftsman, in order to give it back all its superbel. The screw system for height adjustment is also original. The wear and tear created by time has given it a little bit of play, but it is of course still usable! It is therefore adjustable by more or less 20 centimeters. Under the seat, we find the stamp "j&j kohn vien austria" This model of armchair is particularly rare! This rarity, as well as its superb condition make it an exceptional piece. Its place is today in a house of character, with a decoration of high standing, where it will bring an industrial and vintage touch without equal! Size: Height: 84-104 cm. Seat height: 45-65 cm.
