Magnificent Ottoman hand-carved brass bath bowl, 18th-19th century. A superb museum-quality piece, adorned with fully hand-carved floral motifs and a tugra (signature of the emperor or sultan) four times its size. Traditional Turkish bath bowl (Hamam Tasi). Hand-hammered and hand-carved work of art. In the traditional Turkish bath (hammam), the bowl is used to draw water. Dimensions: 20cm diameter X 7.5cm height.
