DESCRIPTION: A beautiful vintage dining table with matching chairs by French designer Boris Tabacoff. This dining set is designed in the timeless style of the space age, featuring elegant chrome legs with a unique shape that defines the atmosphere of the room. This can easily be attributed to Boris Tabacoff's background as a sculptor. The set consists of a table with a thick glass top resting on a chrome base and four chairs with skillfully designed white leather seats on matching chrome bases. This dining set is named Scimitar and was produced by Mobilier Modulaire Moderne (MMM) in 1970. In summary, a unique French design from the space age that will dominate any modern home in the most positive way. DIMENSIONS: Table height: 71.5 cm. Table diameter: 120 cm. Height under the top: 70 cm. Chair height: 77 cm. Chair width: 63 cm. Chair depth: 44 cm. Seat height: 44 cm. CONDITION: Good condition. The glass top of the table has a small chip in two places. The chairs show some slight superficial scratches. There are a few slightly darker stains on the back near the armrest, although these are barely visible, but I wanted to mention them. One chair has a damaged piece of chrome near the end of the leg (see the last photos for a better idea of the condition). SHOWROOM: Amsterdam South (free parking) outside the green zone.
