This beautiful pair of solid oak doors, featuring five panels with two upper ones in a broken arch adorned with natural jute fabric, evokes the bourgeois interiors of the late 19th century. A rare architectural element, ideal for an exceptional library or dressing room project. Materials: raw blond solid oak with honey tones. Upper panels covered with stretched natural jute fabric, adding an unexpected wabi-sabi texture. Period brass handle. Features: the five-panel composition (two upper arched, one horizontal middle, two lower straight) of these antique wardrobe doors is typical of the meticulous joinery of the late 19th century. The jute fabric inserts bring lightness and a unique character to the whole. The two leaves are symmetrical and in excellent overall condition. Renovation: the doors have been sanded and left in raw wood. The jute fabric inserts were added to replace the broken hammered glass panes. Dimensions: L60.2 X H177 X E2.5. A pair of characterful doors, rare for its jute inserts and the quality of its joinery. A complete architectural element.
