This very beautiful DCM (dining chair metal) is a collector's item created by Charles & Ray Eames in 1945, model of the 1st edition manufactured by Evans Products in Venice (California) from 1946 to 1949. Seat and backrest in moulded plywood, assembly with original rubber shock absorbers, frame in chromed steel tube. The foot pads have been changed. Original Evans label under the seat. Good condition, slight traces of oxidation on the metal base, minor restoration of the plating at the bottom of the backrest. Height 74cm, width 52cm, depth 54cm. Signature label Evans Products Herman Miller Herman Miller design Charles Eames.
