Antique soup tureen in faience from the Alebacq & M. Bouchart factory, located in Saint-Amand (Nord), one of the historical centres of French ceramics. “Moderne” model, identifiable by its delicate blue decoration and soft lines typical of the region's productions. The piece is complete with its matching lid. Blue floral decoration, sculpted upper handle, side handle, and the manufacturer's mark clearly visible under the base. This soup tureen perfectly illustrates the craftsmanship of the Northern faience factories: elegant, decorative, and ideal for a charming table or a collection of French ceramics. Condition: very good overall condition for its age, no visible cracks or chips.
