Set of 3 IKEA Nesting Tables PS 2012 – Design J. & N. Karlsson

Rare set of three nesting tables from the famous IKEA PS 2012 collection (no longer in production). Designed by the design duo Nike Karlsson and Jon Karlsson, these tables have become sought-after pieces of democratic design ("Future Classics"). Inspired by 1950s modernist design, they combine a red lacquered steel frame with a varnished beechwood top (unlike the bamboo table in the same series). Their clever design allows them to be stacked perfectly to form a single table, or unfolded to create a striking composition in the living room. Very good overall condition, apart from some minor paint loss on the main tabletop and small marks on the top of the beechwood legs (see photos).
