Original Swedish oil on panel from the mid-century titled "Landscape" by Karl Arne Willmyr - Vintage and framed. A beautiful landscape, signed by the artist. Dimensions: 53 X 63 cm. The painting and frame are in very good vintage condition, with some scratches on the frame, as shown in the photos. The frame can be replaced for an additional fee. Karl Arne Willmyr (born 9 May 1917 in the parish of Färgaryd, Jönköping County, Sweden; died 1 October 1997 in Svenljunga, Sweden) was a Swedish painter. He was the son of entrepreneur Karl Alfred Carlsson and Anna Kristina Andersson. Self-taught, Willmyr pursued his studies independently during travels to Paris, Germany, Italy, and Yugoslavia. Throughout his life, he periodically stayed in Västergötland, Halland, and western Småland, regions that inspired many of his landscape representations. His artistic repertoire also included abstract compositions and figurative paintings. Please note that all items in our collection are vintage or second-hand and are offered as such.
