Buffet Saint-Hubert, antique late 19th century with a sculpted pediment.

Antique Saint-Hubert sideboard, probably from the late 19th century, made of what is likely walnut. A lovely piece of antique furniture that retains all the charm of Saint-Hubert: a low sideboard with two doors and two drawers, an upper section open with shelves, intricately worked consoles, and a beautiful scalloped pediment adorned with a carved floral and vegetal decoration. The moulded panels of the doors, the carvings, and the patina of the wood give it a lot of character. The piece is sold in its original condition, requiring restoration. It naturally bears the marks of its long history: stains and rings, scratches and signs of use, some splits and small chips, as well as a crack on one of the uprights of the upper section. Overall, it remains very decorative and offers great potential after restoration, whether one chooses to retain its patina and antique appearance or to reinterpret it in a more contemporary interior.
