Footstool / pouffe from the plexus series designed by illum wikkelsø in the 1960s and manufactured by cfc silkeborg. The pouffe has a simple, natural design and a wide, soft seat for comfortable lounging. Best known for his seating designs, wikkelsø's aesthetic is considered quintessentially scandinavian, taking inspiration from natural, organic form and translating it into furniture that fits closely to the human figure while remaining steadfast and durable. Footstool preserved in original condition, the straps have been replaced with new ones. The cushion has two faint discolorations.
