Old 3-drawer wicker and rattan chest of drawers

A small vintage chest of drawers with three drawers, lightweight and practical, that will bring a natural and bohemian touch to a bedroom, bathroom, or veranda. The rattan structure is assembled with fine bindings wrapped at each joint. The top, woven from splints in a pretty pattern of concentric diamonds, is surrounded by a decorative gallery adorned with rings and curves of bent rattan. Below, three woven wicker drawers, equipped with cut-out handles, slide between the crossbars. The sides are reinforced with diagonal braces that ensure the stability of the whole. Very trendy in the 1970s and 1980s, rattan furniture has made a notable comeback in current decor for its warmth and lightness. This vintage chest of drawers can serve as a bedside table, storage for linen or toiletries, or as an accent piece in an entryway. Overall good condition with some slight discolorations and signs of use.
