Large decorative dish in glazed earthenware from the province of Toledo in Spain. The province of Toledo in Spain has many towns and villages - such as Talavera de la Reina (listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity for its ceramics) - known for their earthenware entirely hand-painted since times which, for some of these factories, date back to the Roman Empire. Some ceramic painters are very famous and some great artists, particularly Spanish, have also been able to call on these factories, often family-run, to create pieces to enrich their work. This was the case, in particular, for Pablo Picasso. This piece, purchased in Ibiza, comes from these workshops in the province of Toledo. Its diameter is 39.5 cm and its height is 9 cm. It weighs 1.7 kg, excluding transport packaging. It is preferable to reserve its use for a purely decorative purpose. This dish is, moreover, equipped with a fastener intended to be hung as a wall decoration. With its diameter and its beautiful blue color, it is, as such, a beautiful object, which immediately ensures a beautiful presence in a living room. In perfect condition, this ceramic will be sent to you in a reinforced and very well protected package.
