Very beautiful Tiffany / Art Nouveau style table lamp, made around 1980, combining refined decorative work with a highly developed naturalistic inspiration. The patinated bronze base, finely sculpted, features a richly aquatic theme: water lilies and stylised floral motifs entwine around the stem in an organic movement, evoking the roots and vegetation of riverbanks. The wide and balanced base resembles a tangle of floating leaves, giving the whole piece a strong and elegant sculptural presence. The Tiffany-style stained glass shade, of fine quality, is made up of opalescent and multicoloured glass, with shades of pearly whites, deep blues, aquatic greens, and amber touches. The decoration, directly inspired by nature, is organised around radiant spider webs, diffusing a soft and enveloping light, subtly iridescent when lit. The whole presents a very beautiful decorative unity, characteristic of the Art Nouveau aesthetic, where the base and shade harmoniously converse around a shared botanical vocabulary. - Excellent condition - Electricity completely refurbished Dimensions: – Height: 64 cm – Diameter of the shade: 50 cm A decorative lamp with character, ideal for a refined interior, a library, a living room, or a collection space, providing warm light and a strong aesthetic presence.
