Pendant lamp from the "K2" series by designer Tapio Wirkkala (1915-1985), produced by Oy IDMAN in the 1960s. Black lacquered metal frame and smoked glass diffuser. Small crack on one of the diffusers (visible in the photos). Overall good condition. Tapio Wirkkala was a renowned Finnish designer, born on June 2, 1915, in Hanko, Finland, and died on May 19, 1985, in Helsingøy. He was best known for his work in glass design, ceramics, silverware, and furniture. LP1370
