Two-seater basket sofa in light wood – Art Deco period around 1930 (omb)

Two-seater basket sofa in light wood – Art Deco period around 1930. Elegant two-seater basket sofa featuring an exposed structure in light wood, characteristic of productions from the first half of the 20th century. The backrest, particularly enveloping, adopts a beautiful rounded basket shape that naturally extends to form the armrests. The whole rests on four slightly curved small feet and presents a sober and harmonious line. The upholstery is covered in a burgundy fabric with small geometric patterns, also present on the back of the sofa. The seat consists of a wide padded cushion, highlighted with matching piping. The wooden structure shows a lovely old patina as well as some visible marks and signs of use, consistent with its age. The fabric also has a few small signs of wear. The set is sold in its original condition, as shown in the photographs. A decorative sofa with pleasant proportions, ideal for an Art Deco, classic, or eclectic interior. Period: around 1930-1940. Style: Art Deco. Dimensions: H. 97 cm × L. 126 cm × D. 70 cm.
