Set of 4 modernist double wall lights by Maison Arlus, France circa 1950.

Exceptional and extremely rare set of 4 double wall lights from around 1950. Completely in the modernist spirit of the time, produced by the famous French lighting house Arlus, these wall lights are made entirely of solid brass with a gold finish and satin black for the structure, and moulded crystal for the shades. Incorporating some Art Deco elements, note the scalloped central rosette resembling a sun, as well as the shades styled like lotus buds. The total width of one wall light is 32 cm, height 22 cm, depth 14 cm. Diameter and height of the shades are 12 cm. Diameter of the base is 12 cm, thickness 5 cm. In exceptional condition, with no scratches, cracks, or chips, of very high quality, the electrical work has been redone, these splendid wall lights will adorn a grand Haussmannian living room or large corridors with absolute chic. Not to be missed, you won't find such a set again!!!.
