1965 mid-century modern "tender" vintage swedish expressionist portrait oil painting, framed

A poignant and beautifully textured modernist figurative portrait painting, executed in oil onto board and dated 1965. This composition captures a tender moment where an older figure is embracing a younger figure. The sense of comfort brought forth by this scene is further enhanced through the use of muted warm colours comprising shades of orange, red, yellow and brown.
