Six Art Deco Digoin earthenware soup bowls with blue rose motif

A superb set of six soup or dessert bowls made by the renowned French brand Digoin in the early 20th century. The bowls are made of off-white stoneware and decorated in the center with a beautiful blue rose. In good vintage condition, the bowls have no chips, cracks, or crazing. As expected for a ceramic piece that has been used frequently, the surface has some scratches, as well as firing marks, glaze drips, and a small imperfection on one of the bowls. The bowls have a diameter of 22.5 cm and a height of 3.5 cm.
