Large Brutalist crucifix composed of a welded and cast metal sculpture of Christ, assembled with nuts and bolts to an oak base. The piece is signed R. Mignon on the front and countersigned and dated July 26, 1967, on the back. René Mignon was a painter and sculptor from the Île-de-France region whose studio was located in Houilles.
