Vintage Constant Nieuwenhuijs wall rack - Delft 't Spectrum rare

Rare wall shelf designed by renowned visual artist Constant Nieuwenhuijs in 1956 for 't Spectrum. This shelf was only in production for one year and is therefore very rare. See the photos for all the details! Constant Nieuwenhuijs was a member of the CoBrA movement and is known for his visionary architectural building complex, New Babylon. Constant published a volume on spatial colorism, exploring space versus color as a response to the passive role color plays in modern architecture. This shelf is made of red wire plastic and still has its original lacquer. Condition: The shelf is in very good condition with only minor signs of wear. See photos.
