Vase hyathinte Art Deco

An elegant Art Deco hyacinth vase dating from the 1920s–1930s, specially designed for forcing a hyacinth bulb in water. The vase features a distinctive architectural silhouette with a wide flared upper cup intended to support the bulb above the water reservoir. The lower section is decorated with deeply moulded stylised roses and geometric foliage in frosted pink glass. The contrast between the translucent body and the satin-finished floral relief is especially characteristic of Art Deco decorative glass. The vase can be used for growing hyacinths indoors or displayed as an unusual decorative flower vase. Perfect antique condition with normal traces of time, including light surface marks and small manufacturing irregularities characteristic of moulded glass from this period.
