Oil on canvas still life with a baguette and sausage from the 1940s.

Superb still life in oil on hardboard depicting a baguette, a glass of red wine, slices of salami and cured ham. This painting dates from the 1940s and is signed at the bottom left "R. Rochette": Raymond Rochette (1906-1993) was a French painter from the Morvan region. It is a very beautiful work, perfectly mastered! The brush strokes are vibrant, there are beautiful applications of material, it makes you want to sit at the table and enjoy a good French "baguette" and charcuterie with a nice glass of red wine... French! This still life would be perfect for display in a contemporary kitchen or dining room! It is in generally good condition, but please note: the original wooden frame has some missing parts on the edges. Please take a close look at the photos, they are part of the product description!
