Flamed stoneware shell ashtray in Vallauris style

Charming ceramic ashtray with a flamed shell shape featuring lovely brown, beige, and white foam colours on a black background. It still has its original label stating "Genuine Grand Fire Flamed Stoneware." It seems that several pottery makers used this technique and indicated it on similar labels. These potteries were often adorned with a gold marking indicating a city or tourist spot where they were sold as holiday souvenirs. This ashtray could originate from a workshop in Morvan or Vallauris. It is in perfect condition, with no cracks, chips, or even a scratch; it has probably never been used. It measures approximately 18 cm in length, 11 cm in width, and 5 cm in height.
