Solid beech wood stools. Why is the wood red It is a composition of shellac made from natural ruby shellac and red dye. The application of several layers (about 30 to 40) gives it a deep red colour and a satin finish. New upholstery fabric: crab red, a mix of white and red. A green version is also available.
