Mid-century German minimalist floor lamp by Kaiser Idell / Kaiser Leuchten, 1960s.

Rare mid-century floor lamp by Kaiser Leuchten with a special minimalist base. The lamp features a simple black star base made of square rods, height adjustment via a clamping mechanism with a lever, and a large original lampshade with a subtle check pattern on a red surface. The lampshade is lined with cardboard as a diffuser on the inside. It has a pull cord as a switch. The light primarily emits upwards and downwards. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear, and two rods of the lampshade have been repaired. Dimensions: height 115-182 cm, diameter 50.5 cm.
