Monumental Louis XIII style four-poster bed in oak. Origin of a castle near Blois. High and low bedside tables, paneled, molded and carved with foliage. Sculpted uprights with turned and tapered columns ending in Corinthian capitals. Molded and sculpted bed canopy with a large mascaron with the head of a young woman surrounded by leafy branches and topped with four large tops at the corners ((unmounted). Molded and sculpted crosspieces carried by galette feet. Complete bed with bedding (mattress new upholsterer). Dimensions of the mattress 190cm
