Pair armchairs in wood and straw

Boom for the brutalist line and so design of these wooden and straw armchairs of the 40s and 50s. A beautiful singular and unusual discovery, whose exact origin we do not know. However, their ancient manufacture evokes the work of charlotte perriand or charles dudouyt. Their structure is made of cleverly worked turned solid oak. The backrest and seat are made of woven straw. These charming armchairs have traces of their age visible throughout their structure (cf. Photos). These old foundations remain nevertheless solid and sublime. The wood has a warm and velvety patina. The height of the seat is relatively low and perfectly suited to the living room. H.sitting - 35cm. The backrest is subtly worked and gives a brutalist design look very particular. We like the presence of the bar behind the file where it can be filed a plaid. These old armchairs will blend perfectly with a modern and neat decoration and will bring the sophisticated and personal bohemian touch desired.
