The wall lamp was manufactured in germany by hillebrand in the 1960s. The construction consists of two modules. The base is made of brass. The thick glass diffuser is textured and bubble-shaped; the edge simulates the effect of water/ice... The inner layer is covered with crystallized particles of glass mass which creates a decorative structure. The effect of this surface finish is a diffuse light that spreads not only forward, but up and down. Ceramic bulb holders. Four light points. The luminaire has holes for fixing to the wall. The lamp has an original manufacturer's label. Preserved in its original condition, glass without damage. A delicate patina can be seen on the brass. The german factory hillebrand leuchtenfabrik, founded in 1881, cooperated with many well-known designers, such as heinz georg pfaender, ernest igl and odo klose. The cooperation resulted in several design icons. In the 1950s and later, hillebrand received many design awards, including the prestigious if design award.
