Pair of Scandinavian safari armchairs, 1970s

Vintage Scandinavian safari chairs from the 1970s. These sturdy chairs have a solid pine frame with a black leather seat stretched between them. The leather backrest is secured by a frame. The leather straps at the back of the seat give the chairs a rustic charm. These chairs are very similar to the Diana safari chair by Karin Mobring for Ikea, but the shape of their wooden frame is different. Prototypes or handcrafted pieces. What is certain is that this model is rare, perhaps even unique. The designer and manufacturer are unknown. Condition: good vintage condition. Light signs of use on the wooden frame and leather, normal for their age. Beautiful patina. Seat height: 29-38 cm.
