Louis 16 style cane child's armchair. It is in very good condition. Made in the early 19th century in the faubourg saint antoine in paris. The cane is handmade and is original. The armrests are in green fabric with a braid all around. The feet are fluted topped with a round capital. The pediment of the seat is carved with a ribbon. The armrests are decorated with acanthus leaf sculptures. The backrest is finely decorated with an interlaced frieze. Very beautiful model and richly carved. The frame is healthy and solid seat height 30.
