Beautiful brass lamp base

Original vintage lamp base, suitable for all styles. All the gold parts are pure brass, and the lamp is lacquered in a tortoiseshell pattern. This lamp base is in perfect condition; see photos. It's a timeless design; simply personalize it by finding a beautiful white pyramid-shaped lampshade, or perhaps an opaline glass dome. The socket is black Bakelite, and the switch and plug have an antique brown/gold cord. I'm including the original lampshade (it's in very good condition; when lit, there are a few halos that blend in with the reflections). Price negotiable.
