Giant orange, red fat lava vase, by carstens tönnieshof, very rare in this size and condition, xl west germany pottery from the 1960s-1970s, numbered 7310-50. Beautiful fat lava dripping glaze, a bright orange band long in the middle, a real eye-catcher in your interior! West germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came onto the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names are roth, carstens, ruscha, jopeko, jasba, fohr, but the greatest were perhaps scheurich and bay.
