Set of eight Louis XVI style chairs in solid mahogany stained dark brown, richly ornamented with gilded bronzes. Rectangular backrest with fine caning framed by mouldings set with gilded bronze beads, crowned with a gilded bronze cartouche featuring floral and leafy motifs. Front legs are cylindrical and fluted, enhanced with rings and garlands in gilded bronze; rear legs are slightly sabre-shaped. The apron is highlighted with a frieze of brass beads and adorned with gilded bronze rosettes at the four corners. Seats are upholstered with natural caning. Total height: 95 cm. Seat height: 45 cm. Width: 40 cm. Unit weight: 8 kg. The set shows slight wear consistent with its age. The caning is in good condition. Bronzes are intact. No interventions reported by the seller. Overall condition is excellent according to the seller's assessment.
